Hotel Rules and Regulations

  1. The regulations apply to all visitors staying in our hotel "Chopin" in 21 Traugutt Street in Sochaczew.
  2. The receptionists at the front desk are our guests' attendants, please call our internal tel. 400
  3. All residents are charged for stays on their arrival day (in advance)
  4. If a resident gives up staying in the hotel within the 24 hours that have already been charged, the running 24 hour charge cannot be returned.
  5. If a person makes a reservation and does not arrive till 6.00 p.m. on the declared day, the hotel has the right to release the room without informing the guest. If the hotel has the resident's card number at its disposal - in such case the person is charged for one hotel night.
  6. To check in, please present your valid identity card or the passport.
  7. The hotel room is rented for a day.
  8. The hotel 24 hours start at 2 p.m. and ends at 11 a.m.
  9. If a resident does not specify the length of the stay, it is assumed that the room is rented for one day.
  10. If a resident wants to extend the stay for longer, it should be reported at the reception desk before 10 a.m. on the departure day.
  11. Staying in the room after 1 p.m. on the departure day is regarded as the continuation of the stay.
  12. The hotel takes into account a resident's stay extension report according to rooms availability
  13. The hotel all the guests in accordance with its category and standard.
  14. The hotel's duty is to ensure its residents conditions for full and unfettered leisure, the safety of stay including the disclosure of residents' personal data confidential information, professional and courteous service.
  15. On special request the hotel provides the following free services: informing about stay and travel, waking up at the appointed hour, the safekeeping of money and valuables during the stay, baggage storage for residents staying at the hotel.
  16. Residents should inform the hotel reception about any damage immediately after its discovery.
  17. The hotel does not take a responsibility for the loss or damage of money, securities, valuables or objects having scientific or artistic value unless they are put into a deposit.
  18. The hotel reserves itself the right to refuse taking into deposit high-value items or large sums of money.
  19. The hotel is not responsible for damage or loss of cars or other vehicles belonging to guests if they aren't left on a guarded parking lot.
  20. The hotel residents are financially responsible for any damage or destruction of equipment and technical facilities of the hotel, arising from their fault or the fault of people visiting them.
  21. Before leaving the hotel room all residents are kindly requested to close the windows, turn off the TV-set, the lights and other electric facilities as well as turn off the taps, check the door locking and leave the key at the front desk.
  22. For the loss of the room key the hotel charges the resident zl 40 net.
  23. Transfering rooms to third parties by the hotel residents is forbidden despite the charge.
  24. The hotel welcomes guests travelling with pets. Only one animal can stay in the room for an extra charge and the guest is fully responsible for any damage caused by pets.
  25. In open, public spaces, the pet must be kept on leash. For hygienic rules they can not be introduced into the restaurant.
  26. Smoking in hotel rooms, corridors, the stairwell, the restaurant and the reception hall is prohibited.
  27. Dangerous items, weapons and ammunition are not allowed anywhere including hotel rooms.
  28. Visitors who are not checked in the hotel can stay in a hotel room from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  29. All hotel guests are kindly asked to respect quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
  30. Due to fire safety all extra room heaters, electric kettles and other similar devices that are not the standard equipment of the hotel room are forbidden. This does not concern chargers and computer power supplies.
  31. The hotel may refuse to accept visitors who grossly violated the rules or regulations during their previous stay by damaging the hotel's property, doing any harm to another visitor or disturbing somebody's peace. Such guests are obliged to comply with the demands of the hotel staff immediately, in particular by paying damages for all destruction and leaving the hotel space.
  32. Personal belongings left in the room after residents' departure are sent to the address indicated by them. If there is not such a possibility, the hotel stores those items for three months. After that time, things are forfeited.
  33. All residents let process their personal data for the purposes of reporting and putting them into the hotel database in accordance with the Law of 29.10.1997 on the protection of personal data. (Journal of Laws No. 133 of 1997, Item 883 with amendments ). A visitor has the right to inspect their personal data and to correct them.
  34. Residents are expected to accept invoices without signatures.
  35. Hotel "Chopin" rents TV sets to its residents during their stay and so gives them the exclusive right of personal users at no extra charge and the residents take advantage of the users' right during their stay.
  36. A competent court to settle all possible disputes between the guest of the hotel and the hotel is the court competent for the Hotel "Chopin".
